Mint a közleményből kiderül, Keough-t a családi birtokon helyezték örök nyugalomra, ahol nagyapja, illetve annak felmenői is nyugszanak. 

Benjamin Keough július 12-én, édesanyja Calabasas-i házában követett el öngyilkosságot. Azért volt ott, mert a barátnője, Diana Pinto születésnapját ünnepelték – a Mail értesülései szerint több órára bezárkózott az egyik fürdőszobába, majd véget vetett életének. Lisa Marie Presley azóta elköltözött. Keough testvére , a színésznő Riley egy tetoválást készíttetett öccse keresztneveiből, a kulcscsontjára íratva a Benjamin Storm-feliratot.
